방탄소년단 진은 지난 28~29일 고양 일산서구 고양종합운동장 보조경기장에서 ‘#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in GOYANG’을 개최하고 솔로 팬콘서트 투어의 시작을 알렸다. 진은 약 2시간 동안 18곡을 가창하며 솔로 아티스트로서의 탄탄한 음악성과 존재감을 다시금 입증했다.
BTS’s Jin held ‘#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in GOYANG’ at Goyang Sports Complex Auxiliary Stadium in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang, on the 28th and 29th, marking the start of his solo fan concert tour. During the approximately two-hour performance, Jin sang 18 songs, once again proving his solid musicality and presence as a solo artist.

이날 진은 무대 중앙 스크린 사이로 걸어나와 버저 버튼을 누르며 공연의 시작을 알리는 이색적인 오프닝을 선보였다. 이어 라이브 밴드와 함께 솔로 앨범 ‘Happy’의 타이틀곡 ‘Running Wild’와 수록곡 ‘I’ll Be There’ 무대를 펼쳤다. 릴레이 에어샷과 불꽃놀이, 워터캐논 등 화려한 특수 효과로 대형 페스티벌 같은 볼거리를 선물했다.
On this day, Jin delivered a unique opening by walking out between the center screens on stage and pressing a buzzer button to signal the start of the concert. He then performed the title track “Running Wild” and the B-side track, “I’ll Be There” from his solo album Happy, accompanied by a live band. The show featured special effects like relay air shots, fireworks, and water cannons, creating a large-scale festival-like spectacle.

진은 에너지 넘치는 무대에 이어 미니 2집 ‘Echo’의 타이틀곡 ‘Don’t Say You Love Me’와 ‘Background’, ‘Another Level’ 등 감성적인 노래로 분위기를 전환했다. 특히 ‘그리움에’와 ‘Abyss’에서는 피아노를 직접 연주해 관객들의 뜨거운 호응을 이끌어냈다.
Following his high-energy performances, Jin shifted the mood with emotional songs, performing “Don’t Say You Love Me,” the title track of his mini 2nd album Echo, along with “Background” and “Another Level.” In particular, during “그리움에 (I Will Come To You)” and “Abyss,” he played the piano himself, drawing warm/emotional responses from the audience.

이번 팬콘서트는 진과 아미의 완벽한 호흡이 빛났다. 진은 관객들과 함께한 텔레파시 게임 ‘통해라 아미’의 결과에 따라 팬들이 선택한 의상을 입고 ‘슈퍼 참치’를 불렀다. 아미의 무반주 떼창을 듣고 곡명을 맞히는 ‘불러라 아미’ 등 관객 참여형 코너는 현장을 유쾌하게 만들었다.
This fan concert shone with the perfect synergy between Jin and ARMY. Jin played a telepathy game with the audience called “Connect, ARMY,” where he wore an outfit chosen by fans based on the game’s results and performed “Super Tuna.” Audience participation corners, such as “Sing It, ARMY,” where fans sang a cappella and Jin guessed the song title, created a lively atmosphere in the venue.

또한 진의 솔로 앨범에 피처링으로 참여한 가수들이 직접 무대에 올라 특별한 순간을 함께했다. 첫째 날에는 솔로 아티스트 YENA(최예나)가 ‘Loser (feat. YENA)’로 분위기를 달궜고, 둘째 날에는 레드벨벳 웬디가 ‘Heart on the Window (with 웬디)’를 함께 선보이며 아름다운 하모니를 자랑했다.
Further/Additionally, artists featured on Jin’s solo album joined him on stage for special moments. On the first day, solo artist YENA (Choi Yena) heated up the ambience (spiced up the vibes) with “Loser (feat. YENA),” while on the second day, Red Velvet’s Wendy performed “Heart on the Window (with Wendy)” with Jin, showcasing beautiful harmony.

방탄소년단 단체곡 메들리가 울려퍼지자 현장의 열기는 정점으로 끓어올랐다. ‘Dynamite’, ‘Butter’, ‘소우주 (Mikrokosmos)’, ‘봄날’로 이어지는 무대에서는 아미들의 떼창이 터져나왔다. 여기에 양일간 방탄소년단 멤버들이 공연장을 찾아 훈훈한 우정을 과시했다.
When a BTS group song medley played, the excitement at the venue reached its peak. During performances of “Dynamite,” “Butter,” “Mikrokosmos,” and “Spring Day,” ARMY’s mass sing-alongs erupted. Furthermore, BTS members visited the concert on both days, displaying (showing off) their warm friendship.

진은 “아미들과 함께라 성공할 수 있었던 도전이었다. 앞으로도 저의 모든 도전에 함께해 주시길 바란다. 오늘 너무 즐겁고 행복했다. 모든 아미들을 만나는 그 날까지 달려라 석진 투어는 계속된다. 함께해주셔서 진심으로 감사드린다”라고 애정 어린 인사를 전했다.
Jin shared heartfelt remarks, saying, “It was able to succeed in this challenge because I was with ARMY. I hope you all [ARMY] will continue to join me in all of my challenges in the future. I was so happy today. Until the day I can meet every ARMY, the Run Seokjin Tour will continue. I sincerely thank you for being with me.”

이번 공연은 진의 자체 콘텐츠 ‘달려라 석진’의 스핀오프 형식으로 기획돼 예능의 몇몇 회차와 무대 연출이 유기적으로 연결됐다. ‘구름과 떠나는 여행’은 1화(한라산 편), ‘Rope It’은 33화(액션 배우 도전기 편)에서 영감을 받아 VCR을 제작했다. 이 외에 록 밴드 무대처럼 꾸며진 스탠드단과 철망 구조는 밴드 음악을 사랑하는 진의 음악적 취향을 반영했다.
This concert was planned as a spin-off of Jin’s own content Run Seokjin, with several episodes of the variety content organically connected to the stage production. The VCR for “Traveling with the Clouds” was inspired by Episode 1 (Hallasan episode), while “Rope It” was inspired by Episode 33 (Action Actor Challenge episode). Additionally, the stage was designed like a rock band set and the wire mesh structures reflected Jin’s musical taste and love for band music.

한편 ‘#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR’는 고양을 시작으로 일본 치바와 오사카 그리고 미국 애너하임, 달라스, 탬파, 뉴어크, 영국 런던, 네덜란드 암스테르담 등 총 9개 도시에서 18회 규모로 개최된다. /kangsj@osen.co.kr
Meanwhile, the ‘#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR’ will continue from Goyang to Chiba and Osaka in Japan, then to Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark in the U.S., as well as London in the U.K. and Amsterdam in the Netherlands, totaling 18 performances across 9 cities.
