(Like a more formal way to say 'is this right?')

This is a LONG one. BUCKLE UP, ARMY 💜My commentary in green as usual.

Even with a newly optimized workflow, to be able to imbue the transcript with my nuanced translations/notes/commentary, it takes quite a bit of time - so rather than having you wait 4x longer, I’m going to try to deliver this in 4 parts (each about ~30minutes worth of content).

This is my first time trying to deliver SUCH long form content (the max previously was the OT7 Live at about 31minutes total) to you as well so I may iterate a bit with formatting/delivery. Please bear with me as I figure it out.

불타오르네=as some of you may know from FIRE = it’s burning/on fire
both of these phrases do literally have to do with actual fire but the way it’s being used here and in the song is ‘we’re going ALL IN/giving it our all/pouring EVERYTHING we got into it/it’s erupting/etc.

HERE’s a fun one! #LYKOREANCHALLENGE participants, I’m looking at you all!
In Korean, the ‘s’ in ‘sunglasses’ kinda sounds like the double consonant ㅆ - a stronger, sharper ‘s’ sound. So rather than “썬글라스” (a strong “s” sounding “SSUNglasses” with darker lenses and potentially better sun protection), Jimin is saying “선글라스” (this is the actual transliteration of ‘sunglasses’) with a softer “s”
ㅆ in some contexts might sound more like an s coming from when you make a hissing sound ssssssss pushing your tongue against the back of your teeth -> sunglass
ㅅ might sounds closer to if you barely touch your tongue to the back of your teeth or if the ‘s’ sound you get as your pulling your tongue away from the back of your teeth
anyway..

I figured if that’s the case, a transcript capturing two hours worth of material would also be exhausting to digest (this has already been 15 pages of text of 11-12pt font), may be necessarily abandoned part way through, and then you’d have to find your place in the endless scroll again, etc.

SO instead, I think I’ll parse it into more ‘digestible’ bits. This allows me to give you the best quality translations, on a drip feed, without making you wait forever in a way that doesn’t require me to spend 3 consecutive days awake to get it finished lol~ but I’ll keep iterating if this isn’t it - or if I find a better solution.
