I believe this stems from Confucian values that laud emotional regulation/restraint/inner stability as a virtue - like a well-balanced, measured life. It stands for 1 happiness, 1 sadness - but it basically means not to be overly swayed by life’s highs and lows.
You might remember in a clip of RM from his rpwp documentary where he’s sitting at his desk, switching from Korean to English, talking about how he’s so vulnerable to the highs and lows of life (complaining about his dramatic ups and downs in a humorous way)....Right before this clip starts (below) he says he is so 일희일비. I couldn't find a clip that included that line. This idiom is saying don’t be like this loll - here’s the clip
allll that said - I’m pretty sure they’re quoting some meme, or some scene in some show, or some inside joke they had because they’re referencing rules in sequence - which is not usually how this idiom is delivered in just normal conversation.

In certain episodes of Run BTS when the members have to jump, strike some kind of pose or make some kind of facial expression, and time the jump so the camera takes the shot while they’re in the air… yea 10000% of the time, one of those prompts for expressions is 무포정 (mu pyojung), pyojung = facial expression, so MU+pyojung = expressionless (deadpan look, no smile, no frown, 😐)
