“I can’t sleep but, for you, I’ll stay up.” (it’s likely that this wasn’t a Korean-speaking person but the result of a bad translation app OR just someone with ..maybe not the best grammar… because this doesn’t make sense - the commenter may have meant to write “I’m so tired but, for you, I’ll stay up” or “even though I can’t sleep [and want to], for you, I’ll stay up” or something like that. Because the logic, as they’ve written their comment, isn’t very flattering. Like “might as well stay up for you because I can’t sleep anyway” is what they’ve expressed - and tbh even if that sentiment is exactly what they’d meant to express, that’s not how a Korean-speaking person would have communicated that.
I say all this only because.. JK tries to figure this out..

- 신라 (shin+ra//shillah) = Silla [dynasty]
- 진리 (jin+ri//jillee) = truth

Idk who wrote this but please don't be complacent in life -according to no one else's standards but your own honest evaluation of self. My standard for pursuing something is nothing short of excellence. But don't confuse or conflate excellencewith perfection, obsessiveness, or absence of failure. Excellence requires doing the best I can with what I know and what I have, as wisely and intentionally as possible.
And I truly mean best by YOUR honest standard. Don’t let others tell you you’re moving too fast or slow. They’ll move at their pace - you move at yours. But don’t sell yourself short! If you know you can try harder, RISE TO THE CHALLENGE - try. If you know you need the break, don’t burn yourself out. You don't get extra points in the marathon of life by exhausting yourself quickly. No one is just out here waiting to give you your flowers. Chase your goals with excellence. The mere witness to your uncompromised effort will inspire others to try for theirs! I hope and believe that all my followers/mooties are not just super fun fans, sillies, boraheauxs, and crazies with me - but that yall are also working to be the best in your respective pockets of the world at whatever it is you’re meant to do!
