My commentary in green. Kookooball with his fluffy hair also triggers my cuteness aggression pretty seriously. Again, you have been warned. Also a lot of this live is him quietly cooking, though he does do quite a bit of narrating, and a lot of sound effects ..and him mumbling to himself, sometimes audibly - sometimes inaudibly cuz he's not mic'd or anything lol so bear with me!

for this next little bit, i will not transcribe or show any visuals of Jung Kook preparing the shrimp - i know i have quite a few vegan subscribers and while i may not always be able to cater to everyone's specific sensitivities - from strictly a translation perspective, what you see in the live during this portion is pretty much exactly what he's narrating himself doing - so there's not much to 'translate' re: nuanced/cultural significance here. I'll jump to the portion right after he's done handling the shrimp.

Koreans tend to always say 'i'll enjoy this meal' or 'i'll eat this well' or something along those lines to either (1) thank the person who prepared their food or (2) thank the person paying for their food or (3) acknowledge the person(s) accompanying them through the meal
BTS members often say that even doing solo lives because ARMY is 'joining' them for the meal
It depends on lots of contextual things but if you're ever in mainly/mostly Korean-Korean contexts and needing/wanting to honor the culture/having to fit in, etc., the right move would be to say something like this before eating and not just digging in!

actually it's like ..that uni sauce that i put in.. may not have been necessary for this type of pasta but perhaps i added some umami flavor to it, no?

so he's asking about why WV subtitles censored out those 2 syllables lolll
in the context of 닭볶음탕 (dalkbokkeumtang) - a spicy korean braised chicken stew - the censored syllables '음탕' (eumtang) were all part of the name of the dish so it shoudn't have been censored
in a different context, 음탕하다 (eumtang hada) - would mean lewd, lustful, dirty-minded/perverted but it obviously wasn't meant in this way.. so the automatic translation didn't pick up on context - but if you watch the replay, it doesn't censor it out anymore so maybe they touch it up a little? but that said, i've still seen some heinous mistranslated nonsense come out days later so i don't know what kind of 'editing' is happening if any..

but in dalkbokkeumtang.. there's an XX after that.. is it because of eumtang? like eumtang hada??

all of these foods have similar gooey sort of texture) a truly loved/hated dish that has CLEAR diehard fans and enemies haha but all of these food have tremendous health benefits if you can get over its sticky/potent properties. i, for one, cannot overcome.

like i can't do really strong cheonggukjang..
and then natto especially is known for its very pungent smell.. and i ..

like i REALLy wanted to be able to try it when i hadn't yet..
