I really love that we have more family now
because whenever we go to year-end award shows or music shows
it's always just us [[from the same company]] so it'd get a little lonely sometimes
But now that our family has grown - it's nice to be able to stay in touch with each other
Our ILLIT friends also gave me their signed CDs

Maybe this is why people get married and start families..cuz we need family
Again - I am 99.999% my readers/followers/mooties are not the problem. But for anyone that might see this - BTS is a group that encourages other groups and wants to see them grow and thrive. All the hardships, loneliness, alienation, cruelty, neglect they experienced as budding artists that they've overcome, they use all their hard-won wisdom and experience to lift up the next generation. So if YOU pit them against each other in the name of supporting BTS - that's a you problem. BTS would never.
In fact, when some folks that claim to be ARMY go so far as to defame, spread gossip, or hate toward other groups in the name of ARMY - I'm sure this is the biggest insult to the unblemished integrity of BTS. If you're a fan, be awesome. We don't want reckless turds in the fandom./span>

OH.. yea i'm straight up on a diet
I eat one meal a day and I used to lose weight so quickly but now..
I lost about 30kg, I'm about ~72kg now.. I was 76kg and lost about 4kg
But as I get older, it's harder to lose weight
I work out every day, I worked out earlier too
I run almost every day or I do the stair master for 20 minutes like NO MATTER WHAT
I do that every day but it's still hard to lose weight so it's a little stressful
My chin is like on the short side so sometimes ...I look young which is good
but.. how should I say this
like looking young is good but it's hard to..
when I lose weight it doesn't show as prominently as I'd like

Visited Mosu and we was able to say hi to Chef Anh Sung-jae*
Chef Anh Sung-Jae's Mosu is a restaurant in Seoul with 3 Michelin stars. He was also one of two judges for the 2024 season of the Netflix Show, Culinary Class Wars. The other judge was Paik/Baek Jong-won (you've seen this man on a handful of episodes of Run BTS and projects with Jin)

*if you saw my earlier translation, I'd mentioned the difference between 덕분에 and 때문에.
*덕분에 is 'thanks to' or 'because of' in only positive contexts expressing appreciation or gratitude and 때문에 is 'because of' used in neutral or negative contexts. In this case, RM uses "때문에" neutrally to say 'because of Frieze' (the art fair happening in Seoul right now) there are lots of exhibits - just straight facts (neutral).

here, RM uses it in a playful, self-deprecating way to say that he will always be on high alert/high stress. OBVIOUSLY, history has demonstrated that he's stronger than he credits himself and he has not only endured himself, but guided his team through really tough trials without losing his sense of humility and honesty
But if that worry/stress might be channeled into something productive for better content or something.. that'd be worth the trouble

Guys, I'm literally switching back and forth from Korean to English so please I'm trying ..I'm trying to communicate with as many as possible so
(my guess is that another idiot demanded he speak english again... when i tell you i can't stand this nonsense.)
And um I watched all those kinds of videos and the lives we had throughout the years ..like 12[years]
...and I still believe in this belief that there's really something different from others that you know..
we only.. like we ..the team called BTS only has still.. it's been twelve years
I believe the specialty (uniqueness) and the original[ity] of our team
i can't explain what it is but like
if you guys have that experience and you saw us during the *stage (performances), we're not the best best, we're not technically the best (we may not have the best technique), but there's something - some type of energy these kinds of feelings that you can't see but all you can do is feel it
*무대 (mudae) = in Korean, the word for 'stage' can also be used to mean 'performance' - but you might have noticed that BTS (and other kpop groups) use "stage" in weird contexts but when they say it, they mean "performance" when they're not literally refering to the platform on which they'll perform because those words mean both things in Korean
so um the one thing that still didn't change is that BTS has something that is different - I can't say it's better but there's something different when it comes to the team known as BTS and that's what made us us and what's what made ARMYs ARMYs at the same time
I told, in an interview like a decade ago, in 2015? I think it was like BBC Hong Kong or something, I was like "kpop and this BTS thing is always about charging each other's batteries - that word- I won't take it back. That still works... and that has never changed and I still believe...
...last night I was drinking w/ Jimin at Jimin's house and we were talking about where are we moving on and what do we have to do after all of these
(the way he speaks this, if translated directly back into Korean it would make sense - but in English it sounds a little wonky - smoothed out just a bit, he likely meant to say "...we were talking about where we're headed and what we have left to do..")
and these days I"m working on lyrics ...so just for one syllable - I just can't fucking sleep
Not just because of my *problems - and I don't take **pills anymore but just that one syllable.. is always like it annoys me forever
Is it "you?" No no no.. "we..?" or it could be "is" no maybe like "-'s" ...no maybe there's no "S"
Stuff like that. It's always about the details and the texture that just hits your ears on your first listen
and we're just players and artists like.. we have to be in charge of those things

i don't wanna bluff like "oh the new BTS album.. will be like daymnn the greatest album of us" but we're trying to move on (forward) in a good way and to extend its life ..to to to keep our job and to like it and to love it and to really live it..
so.. hope you guys can believe it
Anyway.. I said a lot just now... but during this time of prep/creating is ...we're the happiest.. it's sorta the most peaceful.. but busy.. like LOTS of thoughts but..it's simple stuff.. yea that's what it's like right now
This time of preparation is hard in its own way...
But as much as we prepare is (proportionately) how much we grow in excitement and anticipation and joy for what's to come...
And when the content comes out and we go on tour, what I still vividly remember is that
that season ALSO comes with its own sense of dread and anxiety ..and it just keeps going like that~
It's just a cycle of content coming out.. and preparing [for new content..] and the cycle repeats
but we've gotten a bit older
there's not a lot like..
like coming together wanting to create something again
after coming back from the military, we still want to do something together, with one vision/heart..
the fact that we have something precious that we each work to guard and keep up...
because we really regard that we can work [together] as something really rare and precious
everyone is steeped in that sentiment right now and as such -everyone is working really hard in their respective roles
There's so much that we felt while we were together in America
I mean granted we don't know what'll come of this..
We realize that obviously like.. person by person - you might dislike it or like it.. [the new album]
I mean.. idk.. I can't control that part BUT
We continue to believe there's something only we can do and we will push forward faithfully knowing/trusting that
...hopefully in a direction where we do our utmost to disappoint as few people as possible
But this time around - beyond just taking into consideration the audience and listeners
We'll really focus on what we want to do, what we feel we have to vs. want to express
So now focusing on our inner... inner voice
We want to demonstrate how we've grown as artists
We're preparing a lot... so ..I mean there's nothing I can say but just to ask you to please wait a bit longer
