RM: there’s always that one guy who doesn’t finish their drink until all their ice melts

just in case you were unfamiliar, V couldn’t really drink for a while (as in, he didn’t like the taste NOR could he hang…) then he kinda got into white wines and I think slowly, over the years, he’s developed more of a taste for different kinds of alcohol but couldn’t do them for a long time
idk if this is the same in other cultures - maybe it’s ubiquitous - but drinking culture in Korea is HUUUUGE and different social groups will ‘enforce’ different ‘rules’ to different standards depending on context/comfort levels/etc. - here, among brothers, they can do whatever they want and everything is fine~ all covered in love. But generally, it is considered like vibe-dampening-behavior if you’re unable to finish your beverage before all the ice melts. If you cannot handle alcohol well, it might be better to start off with a smaller pour [that you can finish] rather than nursing a larger portion for hourssss. But again, it all depends on context. There are many groups that don’t abide the unspoken drinking rules much at all - and some groups that might actually get offended~ lol it also depends on how drunk your party is hahaha
RM: Taehyung couldn’t do whiskey at all before but I think recently, he’s giving it a try
V: that’s right ..haha I kinda wanted to try it this time around… cuz now that i’m out of the military, I think I’m like better situated to start trying alcohol. Now that I’ve like tasted this kind of suffering…

it’s not a direct translation like the first two:
