Full disclosure: Jung Kook triggers my cuteness aggression... like prettttyyy badly and SO immediately.. and often. ..so... you've been warned

they just spend quite a bit of time fiddling with the camera and just eating in the beginning

JK: we're on a diet
V: we eat nothing

V (also laughing): the two of us are dieting
JK: in the next room, the rest of our members are eating something really good
V: cuz we're trying to legit workout, we're trying to eat healthy

V: good to see you all, I'm Kim Taehyung
JK: I'm Jung Kook, we just got back from the concert, changed, eating, and turned on our live (also V is just repeating everything JK is saying.. because of course he is), the menu is sweet potato, chicken breast, half a steak each, a pepper, mushroom, onion stir fry, and grilled asparagus
V: and zero coke
JK: and ARIH

V: what flavor?
JK: blueberry
V: yum
JK: ARIH'S yummy

V: how are you all? please tell me how you've all been~ i've been studying english these days.. or studied up to now.. so up to a point, we can interpret

V: they're [ARMY in comments] are discussing which came first - the chicken or the egg
JK: hehehe a discussion? they want a discussion?

JK: if we do a live.. the next room is going to hear about it right..?
V: who do you think will come over? [to join the live]
JK: do you think they will or.. won't come? they likely won't come - don't you think? cuz it's after the concert
V: well first off* other than Jin hyung, I think they probably all turned their alerts off [for when the members go live]
JK: hehe

in doing so many translations - especially of their closing comments during the tour, i have unwittingly noticed that the members, like all people, have their go-to filler words (ie., "like" "kinda" "sorta" type filler word equivalents in english)

V, in particular, says this ALL the time - and of course the other members use this too here and there but V uses it SO much~ not a terrible filler to use though hahaha

and another kinda cute funny thing i've noticed is that many times, JK adopts a lot of the filler words of the hyung that speaks before him but if he is the first to speak, he doesn't naturally reach for very many filler words - isn't that so cute? our little boba spongeball i wuvhimsomuchakdflgj;alkdfjg;l

JK: chicken for me

V: chicken breast or drumstick?
JK: drumstick every time
V: oh really? some people really like chicken breast
JK: well.. for me.. actually yea.. i'm actually coming around to it
V: but only if it's good..
JK: right..
V: if it's like tender/soft..
JK: like sous vide chicken
V: yea
JK: ooh making chicken breast with a sous vide would be good..
V::SIGH:: people who work out.. ::SIGH::
JK: ...ooh should we bring around a sous vide machine?? and a vacuum sealer?

V: absolutely not.

V: when we tour ..lots of people think because we run around so much, we burn a lot of calories but ..we actually do eat THAT much more
JK: mm (affirming what V said but his mouth is full lmao)

JK: can't drop the weight actually..
V: mm
JK: actually during concerts/concert seasons is the hardest to lose weight
V: because we have to expend so much energy, we have to eat a lot to be able to do that so.. maybe now we have to go back..

JK: and since we're doing a live, I wanted to address it.. I would've addressed it anyway but
V: today?
JK: not about eyes
V: oh..
JK: my shins on the verge of a stress fracture.. so on stage.. even today, my heart wanted to give so much more but here and there, it hurt so much that I couldn't so I wanted to address that - if you could please understand, i really want to heal quickly but because we have so many performances [back to back], i can't recover.. so I'm just doing my best to manage the situation
V: actually Jung Kook recently went to the hospital
JK: yea.. but fortunately, it's not a stress fracture yet but seems there's a lot of inflammation around my shin right now and there seems to be some minor damage to the bone as well..

I had to look up a lot of what he said because I don't naturally hear a lot of medical language in my life re: spoken Korean and I was unfamiliar with words like 'stress fracture' and I didn't want to under- or over- exagerrate this update because I know ARMYs worry~

but I am confident that the tone/vibe is as I've written, this is not a major health threat, it's also not 'easy peezy sleep it off and i'll be fine' pain - but he's not worried, he has great teams and great care and YEARS of professionalism under his belt to know how best to manage and prioritize his health so you can rest assured knowing boba's got this :)

JK: so when I truly have to go hard (choreography), I go hard but in between, I am intentionally taking it a bit easier so I can last well throughout the tour
V: no matter what you do, health comes first
JK: right, when I go back to Korea, I'll get treated/treatment for it.. so for those that are coming to concerts from this point forward, if you could please understand ::speaks with his mouth full:: ..that probably didn't get translated
V: no it auto-translates

JK: no no i mean because my mouth was full and I couldn't enunciate

JK: sighh..i'm so upset/annoyed
V: me too
JK: are you? about what?
V: that you're hurt.. and that i'm hurt.. us two are the hospital members but you know what's funny is that the two of us mind our fitness the most out of everyone
JK: truee - even now look.. and we workout so hard..
V: but we.. i don't think we've ever told ARMY but ..it's been like two years since my ear has been messed up
JK: right.. has it gotten any better since you went to the hospital recently and had it [unnamed] taken out?
V: yea but..
JK: it goes back right?
V: yea.. after about a month?
