As you may or may not know, he kept switching languages - weaving in and out of Korean and Japanese especially so please be gentle if there are mistakes - it took EVERY LAST BRAIN CELL I HAVE to translate this lmao

This in Japanese is "gochisousama deshita" (ごちそうさまでした) and it's what you say after eating a meal to express gratitude for the food - esp from a host-very common and you'd likely hear it all the time, similar to "잘 먹었습니다" in Korean.

he's decided today is the day to throw out all the chinese he's ever known/heard.. which is very cool for me. very fun. 😑
