부케 (bu kae) - short for 부캐릭터 (bu character) - or 'sub-character'/alternate persona; used on like gaming and variety shows for when ppl act a bit differently than their usual selves or maybe say something a bit off character or something; but TBH - here.. V isn't talking about his persona, he's talking about a 2nd character he's building up in League of Legends.

often times, gamers will test a bunch of players in the beginning when they're getting a feel for strategy games to test out abilities, comfort, vibes, and then they'll usually land on one or a handful that they especially like - from that point, they'll likely invest most of their time cultivating that player - because with logged hours of play, as you advance through levels, you can potentially acquire skills, abilities, customizations to 'build' up your character into a more powerful player - and of course - as a consequence of logging hours played with one or few players, you'll naturally become more and more adept at navigating the gameplay with that character(s)

from what I know, V is quite good at LoL (ranked diamond) so he may be trying out new challenges by switching to a different player to get better with new characters

they're also talking about a gameroom (like the ones you'd heard Jin/JK talking about in earlier lives) - you can play online games with random people that you match up with on the fly right before the game OR many online games have the option to create a separate room through which you can just play with invited friends, etc.

🎶pretty lady lady lady lady ((he's working on pronouncing "lady") -here's a reverse language tidbig (ENG > KOR) korean diphthongs work differently than english ones- so these kinds of sounds are broken into two syllables said quickly at best)

In English, diphthongs are when two vowel sounds are pronounced together within one syllable like "rain" or "pie"

so for example, with "lady" > when the pronunciation is broken down in terms of hangul - "lay -dee" -> would be deconstructed to "la-ee-dee" or "레이디

For Koreans learning English, every time they encounter this kind of sound, at least at first, they're likely breaking it down in terms of hangul (to make the word accessible) and so MANY words, even without diphthongs "technically" but with vowels that can be broken apart like that, you might hear them struggle. Here are just one more examples before I'll move on:

Out -> out (1 syllable in English)-> 아웃 (a-oot) (2 syllables in "konglish")

said quickly enough, for sure you might not even ever hear the difference - but if you grew up hearing english spoken with a korean accent, this is one of the first things you recognize is difficult. i was born and raised in the states - born to Korean immigrants - so my first language was Korean but because I went to school in the states, my pronunciation naturally surpassed theirs, very organically, at an early age.. and this is one of the things I realized early on were difficult for my parents.. they kept 'chopping up' these English syllables and it frustrated me as a kid because it sounded awkward and i was embarassed - but i quickly got why/how it was difficult

i know lots of ARMY are worried for Jimin/other BTS members re: their diet and weight gain/weight loss - and perhaps when they were young teenagers, it was a very valid worry but at this point, i think we can trust them. they've demonstrated so much growth in every other area, right? it's possible they want to lose weight/gain weight/get toned/get slim/gain muscle/etc. to best fit their needs and work; dancers and singers, especially, need to be able to move comfortably and increase their stamina, etc. so as long as you're not one of the ARMY contributing to body shaming of any kind - i think you can rest easy knowing they're seasoned professionals with (1) each other; (2) much more resources at their disposal than they did as trainees/debuting artists; (3) lots of lived wisdom about weight management and mental health; (4) other staff/support that deeply care about them.

HAHAHAHA awwww this ARMY probably wrote "you play very well" and weverse translated it it literally and i think he may have understood it but it's not clear because what wound up being translated is "you play (as in have fun) very well" and sometimes ppl say that to others that are kinda the life of the party.. or sometimes in a condescending way when others are being 'too much' - it's like a backhanded compliment like you play too much; either way, sarcastically or sincerely - one could say thank you depending on tone/context, etc.

there's no chance he received it poorly but he might've heard it as like a ..'you did a great job playing/entertaining/keeping yourself entertained' on the live in a silly/lighthearted trolling way and may have said thank you in a monotone voice as an equally troll-y response

to say 'you play [the guitar] well' - ARMY would've needed to say "기타 잘 쳐요/치네요/친다" to communicate; 치다 (chi-da)-is the verb "to strike/hit/strum" and is used for instruments you interact with in that way -like the drums, piano, guitar.. other words are used for different instruments like you BLOW the trumpet/flute etc.; the literal word for "play" is reserved for "playing" like having fun

In Korean, as you ALL already know, we don't have any "rl" sounds that go together.. in fact "ㄹ" plays the role of "R" "L" and even "D" sometimes. "RL" together is not a sound that exists naturally in Korean so it's reallyyy difficult for Koreans to say things like "girl, world, etc."

at first i just tried to say says his pronunciation of "world" before being corrected but i was told "jiminshi, then the meaning changes" and I kept being corrected so I just practiced this like for a few days.. "Wanna give her the world and so much more"

I felt this too and my groupchat was also chiming about this. Jin is always an excellent performer that gives 200% - no doubt. But compared to the very beginning of his tour where he was still trying things out and learning about his own physical limits as he kept touring, by now, with all his accumulated performance wisdom, he owned the stage (be it his breath work during his vocal performance, commanding the audience through the challenges, being silly, taking up time in between songs on stage, etc.) in a way that was bolder because of the 'margin' afforded him from his experience.
