My commentary in Green. This live - was chaotic - and Jin was in and out via comments and on the phone. Either way, for Jin, I'll be using 🐹 to represent him throughout the live lol. I've translated all his comments in a picture embededded further down in the post. This is the full first live and a little over a third through the second live... I'll wrap the second "half" tomorrow!

Apparently some kpop folks started filming themselves finding their names among these cookieballs.. so our kookieball needed to find his name too

but now that I know what this is.. I like that his name isn't among the 500 most popular names for both our JK and for any poor unfortunate Korean soul that has to share a name with this behemoth - model, athlete, musical prodigy that is good at everything...

wanted to "talk about it" a bit and *썰을 좀 풀어

*썰을 좀 풀어 (ssuleul jom peuluh)- literally unravel the story/tale; this is a cute bit of Korean slang that kinda equates to spill the tea/unpack what happened/give you the inside scoop lol

he does this VERY briefly before, as you may well know, the whole live devolves into chaos and global fandom staring at/listening to the smiley boba play games that we cannot see with his best eldest hyungnim, Jin

well.. i was gonna either organize my thoughts about that or play games.. mmmm

well FIRST of all.. i was a little meh about it..
but i do think that.. the amount of work I put it paid off
cuz like..
to be honest.. my outward appearance.. hm..what's that.. like i went to the event right and
when i went to the event.. tbh.. the condition of my outward appearance..
like my diet situation... these things... i wasn't super satisfied/happy with [those things]

and then... the next day.. and next next day were the shoot days
i mean i tried my best to lose weight.. and filmed it after i'd lost a good amount but
i mean compared to right now..
i had a bit more chub on my face
like when i was losing a lot of weight it was kinda okay but

overall... personally there were some bits i was a bit meh about but
the end product came out well .. so i'm satisfied with it

and there's this photographer that i've been working with since the last campaign shoot
director and writer together..
i think we work/mesh really well together because
the direction is so clear
and also the shoots are fun too
i think this shoot was really fun too, thanks to the director
the direction was so fun to execute..

there's a lot of like wave motions and arm movements and stuff timestamp

those kinds of things.. the director was joking around like that and made it really fun
so it came out well
overall i'm satisfied with the video too
and i want to say thank you to everyone who worked on the shoot together

*Anipang, for anyone that doesn't know, was(is? idk if it's still around) a Kakao-based game that is essentially candy crush but it uses little animals instead of candies. same idea though and right around the time there was a HUGE candy crush craze, anipang was really popular among Koreans as a phone game.

like we all know Jin's a gamer but he doesn't play first person shooter's all that much... but I am surprised he doesn't know where to find the mouse settings because all gamers know where to find the mouse settings... for like all games.. so this makes me think that he's not asking because he sincerely doesn't know but because he's just chatting on the phone and like IN THE MOMENT I'm sure if he was playing by himself, he'd have figured it out just fine

for those that are unfamiliar with video/computer games - first person shooter games are the ones where you (the player) is essentially like a set of hands because the view is in first person whereas third person shooter games you see the full player's body moving throughout the game. many people find first person shooter games to be really dizzy-ing/confusing because the perspective can be really chaotic if you're not very adept at navigating the controls in a way that isn't nauseating all while moving through the game AND aiming/engaging the game dynamically

(example of a first person shooter game view - you (the player) are a pair of hands (in this case, holding 2 guns straight forward from off screen)- this is from Overwatch, the game JK/Jin are playing at this point)

*slang for a boop kill - in Overwatch, a boop kill is when you eliminate an opponent by pushing them off a ledge - this (the ability to knock players off the edges of places effectively defeating them) is typically only accessible to specific characters (not the one Jin's currently playing with) and people in the very early stages of learning how to play the game (as is the case for Jin) to get players familiar with what's possible in game play and often the newest players are unaware of this limitation so they're not wary about standing close to the edges of things... lol seasoned game players likely won't open themselves up for this kind of attack

but as this is not that impressive a kill - JK's face is this:

in many games, right after a player plays their strongest move, it takes them a certain amount of time before they can use that move again [otherwise they might become too powerful and/or the game play might become stale (just using your strongest move over and over again) so game designers implement a 'cool down' period so that you have to switch up your strategy. BUT here, if you contribute to a kill, your cool down resets and you can use your strongest move again right away

JK: so yea.. so if you use your ult then.. you can use it, kill someone, and then use it again.. and then just kinda keep doing it like that like taktaktaktak

Jin is likely playing the practice/beginner/training level to get BRAND NEW players acclimated to all the options/features on a 'safe' level against bots that basically don't fight back or fight back very gently to get you to test out the game abilities. JK is just being a gently sweetie pants but also nottt letting Jin have his moment in the sun. i am deddd

*respawn - in a game after you die, sometimes you can come back to life to continue from where you left off with fully restored health/default health so Jin is confused as to why he's already nearly dead after coming back to life so quickly...

*OP in games stands for "overpowered" characters referencing characters with such incredible powers/moves/strengths that it almost seems unfair that they're allowed to play amongst normal other characters cuz it seems the odds are too stacked in their favor.. here though.. there's a smol chance that Jin is being dramatic. so smol🤏🏻
