This is a live he turned on after the last show in Vegas
j-hope has been a whole menace and thirst trap for ALLLLLL of his HOTS tour and so much of this ARIRANG tour but this live, he is SO FRIGGNG CUTE JAJKDFLGJDLFJGKDFJG - it's actually not that often that j-hope triggers my cuteness aggression, it's usually boba - but this one - PLEASE RE-WATCH. j-hope is so tinycakes and so adorbs

I said on the stage in Korean too - but it's the first time in a long time that the 7 of us are on tour more long-term (as in longer durations outside of Korea at a time) and somehow.. it's been so exciting, wondering what'll happen, how will the tour go down.. and thinking about how should I showcase my style through my hairstyle.. and getting excited about things like that - but as much as I've expected, perhaps way more at times, the tour has been so fun - different than all of our tours before we entered the military.. it's more mmm... ::then he makes this face::

• and he says something like "we need people to attend to even be able to have concerts" and "you know how I've been posting the sound check videos to my story" - and goes on to explain how as he posts, he becomes aware of the fact that he's 'adding' to his [IG] story and hit with this sense of like "wow we've done all these tours..?!" and describes that "our [BTS] sense of longing/missing you [ARMY] and your [ARMY] sense of long/missing us [BTS]" culminates in these really beautiful experiences and that he's just so so grateful

this is such a sweet reflection
I've never been to an OT7 concert before but from my experiences with the HOTS tour and the RUN JIN tour, OF COURSEE BTS is the main event and they are incredible

BUT TRULY - witnessing ALLLLLL the different ARMY gather together in whatever location, from ALL different ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic backgrounds, faith backgrounds, professional backgrounds, etc. and not just 'tolerating' each other but truly fostering lovely new friendships and making dynamic new memories with each other in all the queueing... SO MUCH QUEUEING... and the sitting and the standing and the waiting and the hoping and the celebrating and the LOSING OUR SANITY.. it's all so precious and really interesting to witness and MAGICAL to take part

If there are any readers that are not or not yet able to score tickets to a BTS concert - if there are ever any fan-led events nearby at a more affordable/possibly even free price tag - I'd go! Cuz half the magic is definitely contained within the moments when ARMY gather together! If there aren't - I mean, consider hosting one. All of these fan-led initiatives start somewhere! You may be surprised to find there are more ARMY nearby than you expected!

my guess with that comment is that, in english, someone might've written something like 'you were transcendent' [at the HOTS tour] and the weverse comment auto-translate turned it into that - this phrasing is a little awk OR it could've been a korean speaker just really being dramatic about how transcendent hobi was because.. i mean he was lol - the wording is slightly strange but idk if this is how the youths speak now... or a mistranslation in tone

• j-hope mentions that, moving forward, he'd like all tours to sorta allow for more time for the members to do stuff together (as they have this tour) "i think if we can do a variety of different things together, that'll be a better way to spend time [off stage, on tour]

• looking back, counting Seoul, turns out we've already done 20 concerts already in total ~ holyy... man...
• 💬i'll teach you pickleball
  friends - you don't have to know how to play pickleball to start playing pickleball - I just started playing in like 30 minutes and it gets more fun as you learn, it's exercise and it's good cardio
• on the days we rest, i do keep trying to do things that keep my energy/stamina up and break a sweat (like cardio, pickleball, etc.)
• j-hope mentions that on previous tours (so before their enlistment) they couldn't do anything on their "rest days" because they had to rest [because they were exhausted because their schedules were so tightly packed] so they truly had to spend their days off recuperating for their next performance without the ability to really explore the different locations they were touring
• "now we have more margin and the situation has changed so much - I think this is the right way.." and continues to explain that if they're [BTS] is able to use their time this way and stay happy, that happiness is passed on to the audience, and the audience's happiness then is passed back onto them - "so I think these are definitely related"
• "that said, I'm not bashing on tours in the past - those were also incredible experiences with its own merits/memories specific to that season - and tbh, at that time, we couldn't have done it differently"

  ohhhh the total opposite for me - as the days pass, I keep feeling like I have to learn more English because I want to understand what you're feeling and saying - "i'm trying to do my best. i'm trying to speak English." ::sighs::

  it's not that I don't like it - i think something was miscommunicated/twisted - I like One More Night, it's that I heard the *guide first and that version wasn't super compelling for me because that kind of sound isn't really my preference/taste but once our members' voices were in it, it developed some character - it surprised me like oh this issss a good song

*a guide/guide vocals = for anyone that may be unfamiliar is a temporary recording used as a reference (a VERY rough draft) during songwriting, arranging, recording, and producing - so that the actual artists who will be performing that song at the end can hear the gist of how it was intended to sound

but from the point that a guide is presented, it goes through SO many rounds of iterations from every angle (not just vocal tracks but all the different elements) so it can evolve quite a bit before the final product is polished and included in the albums we know and love

a bit of lore - sometimes artists that are not singers but great producers of beats/melodies, will ask a vocalist to record their guide track to pass it on to other artists - and in the past, Jung Kook, has been asked to play that role. He'd be asked to sing the song as a "rough draft" that can be passed along to the actual artist meant to record the official version of that song... but Jung Kook sings so well and with such a distinct style that even the rough drafts sounded so powerful/unique/embedded with Jung Kook's signature essence - that the 'intended artist' would struggle to find/produce their own sound from the guide track - SO MUCH SO - that JK was told not to provide guides for people anymore hahahaha

SUGA mentions this on an episode of SUCHITA - and it speaks to Jung Kooks TREMENDOUS talent and unique ability to imbue all music with character... even when it's supposed to sound like a 'flat rough draft' - our talented bobaball ❤️
