Part 1
- Jimin, ever concerned, to RM: have you been sleeping well recently?
RM: actually I have here.. I think Spain works for me
Jimin: oh that's so good - Jin recalls that it coincidentally always seems that the members that struggle the most with sleeping always get the rooms with the most raucous happening right outside - and an incident in El Paso where RM's room was so noisy - and V volunteered to switch rooms with RM, so after all the moving/switching of rooms ...RM thought V's room was just as bad - so he wound up moving to a different room. So they laugh over the fact that V had to vacate his room for essentially no reason lol
- Apparently in their hotel in El Paso, Jimin had no issue; V says the windows wouldn't close all the way; RM heard the air leaking through 24hours a day - and Jimin says, rather, hearing a bit of the outdoors helped him sleep and that on the flip side - if it was dead quiet he wouldn't have been able to sleep (same Jimin, same); Jin/RM apparently had people practicing for some kind of concert right outside their window starting very early.. rapping at like 6am through very loud speakers - all this said, they recognize it was some kind of festival for that region and these were the events surrounding that celebration
- Jimin notes that he didn't mean to eat as much as he did - and Jin/RM are like you barely ate~ like what are you talking about.. 'the average person wouldn't even notice that you ate a lot' and Jimin replies 'sure but we can't go by that..' and Jin says "that's your biased opinion" - Jimin agrees - but then Jin also agrees "that said, I also only had like 2 spoonfuls of rice"
V wants to keep scrolling comments to find another fun topic to 'debate'

- V says that he thinks, in his opinion, the move is not to read the comments (HARD AGREE) but rather the posts that the fans leave for BTS and respond to things from there (this is actually such a great idea, it's far easier for them to read because it doesn't go by as quickly and they can easily scroll past BS)
- RM: we've already been live for over 30 minutes
- they talk about how Weverse has changed so much and gotten so much more complicated, more advanced in a lot of ways but harder to use on their end
Jin: but you know what's annoying, you can't go into other artists' channels with our IDs
V: I've been in others' lives
Jin: not lives..
Jimin (trolling Jin): whoseeee channels??? are you going into girl groups??

RM: hyung, if you go in - that is a disservice/you're becoming a nuisance unto them

this is really interesting because this is a very good moment where RM's perspective as the leader shines through
Jin/V talk briefly about how they'd love to drop in on others' communities - Jimin, understanding RM's point, expounds and asks "jumping into others' comments and stuff like that is not it.. i think..right?"
Jin's like 'well CORTIS/TXT are family, no?' and while that's true - RM/Jimin's point is entirely beyond that
the reason for refraining from popping into other artists' spaces has nothing to do with closeness or friendliness between BTS and the other groups- it's about respecting professional boundaries
For example, if a member of BTS pops into a TXT livestream - to show support, to show love, whatever (probably much the way they do with their own members' lives) - and there may be many fun/good outcomes - sure BUT it also would (1) set a precedent for it to be okay for other groups to drop in on and potentially interrupt the vibe of the main artist & their fandom by drawing attention away from the main group (even if only briefly) and BEST case scenario, it'd draw a lot of love from their fandom (but at the cost of the time the main artist planned to spend with their fans) and at worst - could incite kpop fandom nonsense and everything in between
As the leader, RM probably holds systems/precedents/consequences in his mind as much as he might also sincerely appreciate the whimsy of lightly popping through for a fun time in another groups' channel
Jimin further articulates RM's point that TXT's channel is a space reserved for TXT and their fandom and just gently says "hyung, all you have to do is focus on our ARMY"
Jin [FULLY comprehending and using humor to switch gears]: why are you being so extra [about this]
Jimin:
- RM: the comments are going by too fast but like... okay.. so we're getting a lot of flags.. someone said they just landed a job! congratulations on your new job. "yoongi posted a story, did you see it?"
Jimin: no - V: there are no fun comments/topics
- Jimin: you know what I think is so fun? recently I've been into vids where whale language has been translated with AI - there's like a frequency they share and so it's for sure they're communicating but now with AI, it can be interpreted

V: and did you know when a whale makes noise - it spreads so far and the sound amplifies to the point it gets really loud but the initial sound emitted is actually pretty quiet and if we were to do something similar by putting salt in our bathwater and then striking a triangle, it'd also make a very loud noise

- RM: i want koraebap [literally "whale food" - a classic Korean brand of snack from childhood]
- Jimin: ...wowwwww the flow/continuity of conversation is like ... dust..
Jimin: man I ate so much - I can't be swollen/puffy tomorrow what should I do
Jin: Jimin, don't worry about things like that at all
RM: we can wake up tomorrow and hit the ground running
Jin: sure that works - if you get a good night's sleep - all the puffiness will be gone
RM (reading comments): Jimin, you were so incredible at the Dior show

Jimin: oh they were! they're all so good looking.. but they were even thinner than me
V/RM: we were all that skinny when we were their age
Jin: Jimin, you're what like 45kg now?
Jimin: hehehe no I'm like 59? 58?
V: you think they're like in the 40somethings? [kg]
Jin: eyy (as in, cmonnn) they're tall too though
Jimin: they're a lot taller than me - but I had shoes with thick heels so I did come up to like their nose
V: but Martin is like... 2 meters?

Jin: that kid grows by like 5cm at a time

Jin: the next time you see him - you carry a chair with you from now on - and the next time you run into him be like 'one sec' and then set the chair down, get on the chair and greet him when he's lower than you

Jin [wasn't actually trying to pull seniority, was just trying to be silly]: that's too much it's better if he [RM] just carries around a chair at all times

- RM is still trying to find a thoughtful comment but it's probably either spam or even if there are thoughtful ones, they move by too quickly to be read
- V: okay last time - i'll look through ARMY's posts/comments for us
Jin: why do you keep wanting to debate things

Jimin: is there a topic you'd like to throw out? - Jimin says he remembers something he saw and throws it out from a nonKorean account - another jokey "what if" type of thing - "if it's illegal to dig up graves, are archaeologists' work entirely illegal?" and this is not a sincere ask it sounds like what he saw online was like a nonsensical set of questions
Jin: if we were to answer sincerely - isn't it because current people with graves have descendants that would guard/keep those grave plots but archaeologists are digging up artifacts without ...descendants??

RM: just keep living vs. go back to when we debuted but with all the knowledge he have amassed to this point - not the trainee period - like skipping the trainee period - going back to June 13, 2013 with all the information/memories in tact - and you're the only one that knows

Jimin: cuz if we were to go back then, more quickly I could..

RM: our early years were sooo packed/hard

RM: so I am including stuff like that too [like bitcoin] but .. cuz we're doing well now but you'd have to go back back then.. with the information we have now.. do you remember what it was like back then??

Jin: our waiting rooms were this small (gestures but we can't see how big the room is they're in)
RM: constantly getting summoned by our sunbaes [seniors, presumably to do stuff]
Jimin: but our mentality has already..
RM: we're GROWN, like we're successful already, we've even been to the military already ..

Jimin: knowing what I know now - since my mentality has changed, our environments would have such a different impact on me - including who I kept close.. I think my some of the 'friends' that i kept reasonably close at the time.. knowing what I know now.. it would be infuriating to see them again
RM: i think i'd fall into nihilism.. but maybe I could make money a lot faster and then use the money to do so much more good so much earlier
Jin: bitcoin and stocks ..from the start
Jimin: the moment I think about money-related stuff, I think I wouldn't want to live anymore.. cuz then you'd keep having to think in terms of that... endlessly
RM: but okay there's more though cuz like we could sidestep all the egregious mistakes we made and spend our 20s much more thoughtfully too - cuz the time/money you have in your 20s is the most "expensive"
Jin: but then our future could change too..
RM: yea we couldn't do anything about that but global incidents don't change - like for example, 2020 Corona will still hit us..
Jin: oh so like.. when Samsung's stock dipped to like 30,000-40,000 won
RM: right.. well it didn't dip down to 30,000 ..prob closer to 42,000 won
Jin: so then I could invest everything at that point and then be ...yahh...

Jin: how exponentially would my fortune increase
Jimin: but anyway - we can't go back
RM: but discussions like this - help people reorganize what is important to them
V: for this hyung [Jin] seems like it's money

- Jin presents the 5 strangers vs. 1 Jimin; JK chooses to save Jimin "he's family."

JK: THISSS is the problem with these kinds of questions - you pose them so that no matter how I answer, I become garbageee
- V asks JK to grab the macarons since JK is up and while JK distributes snacks from the hotel to Jimin/V, Jin & RM are plotting in the background
RM's voice is too low so I can't hear but Jin is like it's 12am.. wanna do rock paper scissors? JK is trying to balance the camera lmao .. the chaos is so real.. with 3 minutes left on this live
Jin to RM: hey namjoon, I have to ask you something.. get up..

the general vibe is that RM wants to leave/wash up cuz it's midnight, Jin wants to leave but doesn't wanna be the only bad guy so is also trying to use this 'conversation he has to have with RM' as the excuse for leaving but has been caught IMMEDIATELY in his lie, the 95s are giving RM a hard time so he'll stay, RM is whispering into the camera [from off camera] that he wants to shower; the maknaes understand the live is about to end because RM is doing.. this.. so they wave goodbye lol
JK tells on Jin: Jin left, went out the door, and came back
